RH has opened a new retail store concept dedicated to classic design and rare, collectible historical furnishings.
The luxury home furnishings retailer (formerly known as Restoration Hardware) opened the concept, "RH Estates," on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, Conn. The company said it plans to significantly expand RH Estates' retail presence across the globe this year, with a second location opening on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles opening in 2027.
Additional RH Galleries are planned for Florida, in Naples on the site of a former Nordstrom, and in Aventura, reported WWD. The company is also scouting New York City's Madison Avenue, according to the report.
"Greenwich marks a pivotal moment for our brand as we introduce the first freestanding RH Estates Gallery in the world, an immersive and eclectic expression of rare and collectable historical designs of the highest quality previously only available at exclusive to-the-trade showrooms," said RH chairman and CEO Gary Friedman.
