Reckitt is progressing on its $600 million multiyear transformation of its U.S. business.
Its most recent strategy includes integrating commercial and R&D operations into its New Jersey campus and expanding its North Carolina facility, the largest over-the-counter manufacturing center in North America.
Reckitt recently relocated its North American campus to New Jersey to support commercial and operational teams. The center will now include a state-of-the-art science and innovation center (a germ protection hub) with advanced capabilities in disinfection, microbiology, surface care, laundry care and personal care.
The North Carolina investment will allow Reckitt to increase production capacity and volume for its Mucinex tablets and liquids and its Move Free products. The expanded site will open in the first half of 2027.
At the center of these upgrades is a new model for innovation that brings together R&D, advanced scientific capabilities and commercial expertise to shorten the path from concept to shelf, according to the company.
