This week, the Bacardi-owned Tequila brand Patrón was seen teaming up with The Streets frontman Mike Skinner. But what made this union such a good match? db finds out.
The event, which was named Re-Mastered: Live and took place in the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London, was the latest chapter in Re-Mastered, the cultural series from Patrón which celebrates the artists, makers and creatives who "take the long road to get something right".
Creative process and dedication
According to Patrón Tequila's global senior vice president Roberto Ramirez-Laverde, there were many reasons for working alongside Skinner and even though it has been more than two decades since The Streets first emerged, it reiterated that Skinner's approach to making music remained "rooted in the same creative process and dedication" and noted "it's these values that mirror those of Patrón Tequila".
The evening opened with an intimate in-conversation panel, bringing together Skinner and two voices who know his work from very different perspectives.
