Compaxo Group has announced plans to snap up fellow Dutch meat producers Gepo Vleeswaren and Kroon Vleeswarenfabriek Zwaagwesteinde.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In a statement, family-owned Compaxo said it is aiming to "strengthen our position within our core activities".
Specifically, the company outlined the potential to grow in product areas including processed meats and liver sausage products.
Compaxo also pointed to the benefits of greater scale, including in logistics, product development, product portfolio and packaging.
Gepo, founded in 1958, developed from a traditional sausage-making business in Hoofddorp into a specialist producer of processed meat products.
Kroon traces its roots to 1870. It began as a butcher's shop in Groningen, eventually growing into a national processed meat brand.
